Meet Robere:
Robere got his first job at the age of 13. He worked for a master jeweler, getting hands on experience and training learning everything there is to know. By the age of 16, he was performing all the jewelry repairs and designing jewelry with customers. After moving to the San Diego, CA area at the age of 21, he opened his own jewelry repair shop. He did repair work for many large jewelry department stores along with his own developing clientele. In 1981, Robere’s Jewelry was transformed from a repair shop, to a full jewelry store and repair center. Robere didn’t stop there. In 1998, Robere’s Jewelry re-located to the Del Mar Heights Town Center in Del Mar, CA. Since 1981, Robere has established a continuously growing business, continuously satisfying all his customers Jewelry needs.
Meet Jonathan:
Jonathan grew up in the business. Going to work with dad at the young age of 10, he watched closely and was eager to learn. While growing up, Jonathan worked with his dad after school, learning as much as possible. He sketched many designs, did repairs, assisted with the manufacturing, and assisting the customers with all their jewelry needs. In 2003, Jonathan Graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Since then, he has worked full time with his dad, designing and manufacturing the best quality jewelry. From a young age, he has been observant and very detailed. He closely watches over the entire manufacturing and quality control of the custom pieces. The customer doesn’t get the piece until it passes Jonathans “Perfection Inspection”, as he says. Jonathan is very knowledgeable when it comes to diamonds. He understands the purchase of a diamond is a big step, and wants the valued customer, or potential customer to be completely confident in what they are getting. He gives expert advice, as well as a Diamond crash course, so they know exactly what they are getting. Working hand in hand with Robere, they put the needs of their clients first, making sure they are in the most relaxed and enabling environment to make all their jewelry buying decisions.
Meet Janelle:
Janelle has been going to work with dad since the age of 3. Growing up in the family business she always had a desire to know more & more about the way things ran at her fathers shop. “ To watch Jewelry go from a sketch, to a wax, to a actual custom piece is fascinating to me and I love to see the customers reaction when its completed” she says. From helping customers with custom designs to coordinating the advertising department and social events she has a passion for working side by side with her family and the customers.
